This role is ideal for an energetic individual who thrives in a collaborative professional environment and is passionate about communications, branding, digital marketing, and event coordination. The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Firm's marketing and business development initiatives across multiple practice areas while helping elevate the Firm's visibility and reputation among clients, referral sources, and industry audiences both locally and nationally. This position currently follows a hybrid work schedule (in-office/work-from-home) with standard hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information about our Firm, please visit www.hsplegal.com. Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage and maintain the Firm's social media presence, including content creation, engagement strategies, analytics, and reporting to management. Lead the coordination and distribution of press releases, announcements, and media outreach efforts. Research media opportunities, maintain distribution lists, and identify opportunities to increase the Firm's visibility and brand awareness. Draft and design marketing materials including newsletters, presentations, advertisements, invitations, attorney biographies, and internal/external communications. Create compelling graphics and visual assets that align with the Firm's branding and marketing strategy using platforms such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of Firm-sponsored events, seminars, and client functions. Oversee and monitor Google Ads campaigns and social media advertising initiatives. Prepare and present quarterly marketing updates and project reports to the Firm's Marketing Committee. Coordinate with outside vendors, consultants, and media partners as needed. Manage attorney and Firm recognition submissions, rankings, and profiles including Avvo, Leading Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and similar publications/directories. Stay informed on emerging marketing, legal industry, and communications trends to identify new opportunities and best practices. Desired Competencies The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong content writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with careful attention to tone, audience, and detail. Creativity paired with strong organizational and project-management skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment. A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Professionalism, reliability, and strong follow-through. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, leadership, staff, and external partners. Flexibility to occasionally assist with events outside standard business hours. Comfort learning and leveraging new technologies, software, and marketing tools. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of two (2) years of marketing, communications, or business development experience required. Prior experience within a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred. Technical Skills Qualified candidates should possess experience with: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Social media management and analytics platforms Email marketing and e-marketing platforms Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite products including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop Digital advertising platforms and marketing tools HSPRD is an equal opportunity employer.
