POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator supports the marketing team with the execution of multi-channel campaigns and day-to-day operations. This role focuses on digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and analytics, while also contributing to event promotion, creative content development, and cross-functional project support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on learning opportunities to grow within a collaborative team.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Execution and Coordination:
Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of campaigns across digital, print, and event channels. Coordinate and schedule web ads, email campaigns, social media posts, forms, and surveys. Work closely with the marketing team to draft and implement promotional copy for various platforms. Collaborate with the video team to create video content that aligns with campaign goals. Partner with the creative team to produce promotional materials for digital and traditional marketing channels.
Social Media Support:
Provide support for social media management across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok. Assist with customer engagement, community monitoring, and live event coverage. Support marketing conversion experiments to optimize social media strategies.
Event Marketing and Promotion:
Assist with event promotion efforts, including live event coverage both on-site and remotely. Coordinate assets and materials to support event-related marketing campaigns. Support logistics for promotional activities, such as launches and new program rollouts. Manage merchandise by setting up items, tracking them, and selling them at events.
Digital Marketing and Website Optimization:
Assist with the creation and optimization of web pages to enhance user experience and program visibility. Help evaluate the customer journey across channels, identifying opportunities for improvement. Learn and contribute to the design and execution of successful marketing campaigns from inception to completion.
Analytics and Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and summarize data for marketing reports, providing actionable insights. Monitor and review key marketing metrics, sharing findings with the marketing team. Track the performance of campaigns and propose data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Team Collaboration and Administrative Support:
Support cross-functional project execution, ensuring assets and deliverables are complete and on time. Coordinate departmental email newsletters and targeted email requests. Collaborate with partners and vendors to facilitate marketing initiatives as needed. Assist in organizing and maintaining marketing files, calendars, and schedules. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the marketing team.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other design tools is a bonus but not required. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, email marketing software, and analytics tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward learning and growth.
EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (internships or entry-level roles preferred). Experience in event marketing, social media management, or digital campaigns is a plus. Must pass the RVP program and maintain a "Green Light" status. Must adhere to the Code of Conduct of the USBC Registered Volunteer Program is a condition of employment and continued employment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Must be able to bend, stoop, and/or climb. Must be able to move/lift up to 75lbs.

TRAVEL:
Ability to travel up to 30 - 40% of the time.
