Job Description
LaFace and McGovern, Inc. was established in 1977 and is considered the leader in the lighting and controls market in both Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. L&M has been dedicated to serving the customer base within the lighting community for more than 49 years with offices in Canonsburg, PA; Altoona, PA; and Huntington, WV. LaFace & McGovern is seeking a motivated, creative, and organized Entry level Marketing Coordinator to support our growing sales, specification, controls, power, and technical services teams. This role is responsible for strengthening the company's brand presence, promoting our leading lighting and controls manufacturers, and driving marketing initiatives throughout Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The Marketing Manager will manage digital and print communications, coordinate events and customer engagement activities, and support business development efforts. The ideal candidate is technology-savvy, highly organized, and eager to learn the architectural, engineering, construction (AEC), and electrical industries. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that support company growth and brand awareness.
- Manage company websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, newsletters, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Create and maintain marketing content, including presentations, brochures, graphics, blogs, and promotional materials.
- Ensure brand consistency across all customer-facing and internal communications.
- Coordinate trade shows, customer events, educational presentations, and manufacturer visits.
- Partner with sales and specification teams to develop marketing materials, project case studies, and customer success stories.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of company websites and digital assets.
- Manage customer and prospect databases and track marketing campaign performance.
- Coordinate co-branded marketing initiatives, product launches, and promotional campaigns with represented manufacturers.
- Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and content creation tools.
- Experience with CRM platforms, WordPress, and email marketing platforms.
- Photography, videography, or digital content creation experience.
- Interest in the construction, engineering, architecture, lighting, electrical, or technology industries.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Creative, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Eager to learn technical products and industry terminology.
