intern Company Description My Player Athlete LLC is a rapidly growing NIL-focused company dedicated to helping athletes elevate their personal brands through custom graphics and merchandise. The team specializes in turning each athlete's identity and story into compelling visual art and products. By combining creativity, branding, and sports culture, My Player Athlete supports athletes in building a strong presence beyond the game. The company is driven by the belief that each athlete's success is a core motivation and central to its mission. Role Description The Operations Intern will work directly with athletes and support the day-to-day activities that keep My Player Athlete running. This person will communicate with athletes throughout their experience, send and track incentives, and help every athlete get what they need to succeed with their brand and their store. The intern will also work hands-on with our new platform, helping manage athlete accounts, keep information accurate, and improve how the system works as we grow. Additional responsibilities include assisting with scheduling and coordination of projects, tracking inventory and merchandise orders, maintaining internal processes and documentation, collaborating on operational workflow improvements, supporting communication with partners and clients, and assisting with basic sales and outreach tasks as needed. This is a fall internship running September 10 to November 27, 2026, roughly 15 to 20 hours per week and flexible around class. The role is remote, though we are based in Chicago and would love to have you in the office when you can be. Qualifications Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with comfort talking to athletes directly and often Strong analytical skills to interpret data, track performance metrics, and support operational decision-making Interest or experience in sales, with comfort supporting outreach, follow-ups, and relationship management Foundational knowledge of operations management and project management to assist in planning, organizing, and executing tasks Reliability, time management, and attention to detail while working remotely Proficiency with productivity tools such as spreadsheets and project tracking software, and willingness to learn new systems Enrollment in or completion of coursework related to business, sports management, operations, or a related field is preferred Demonstrated interest in sports, athlete branding, or NIL-related initiatives is a plus
