Marketing Assistant/Coordinator
Job Description
Role Overview This full-time position is responsible for coordinating efforts for Business Development and Marketing, as well as developing, producing, coordinating, and implementing various internal and external related marketing deliverables and services. This position requires a personable candidate with an ability to assist the Marketing Manager and the business development team to present Ridgemont's services in a compelling and innovative way. The individual must have strong organizational skills, be energetic and have professional writing and presentation competencies. This position reports to the Marketing Manager and has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Key Responsibilities All responsibilities are performed under the direction of the Marketing Manager. 1. Marketing & Business Development Support
▪ Assist in the effort of fostering marketing within the culture
▪ Attend Hand-Off Meetings with hand-off bag deliverables
▪ Following each Hand-Off Meeting, complete the project follow-up process:
▪ Add project into Cosential, along with details and team
▪ Create the project cut sheet
▪ Add project into Marketing metric spreadsheet
▪ Assist when needed for
Project Specific Marketing Deliverables:
▪ Draft RFQs / RFPs / Interview presentations and double check grammar and format prior to sending to Marketing Manager for final approval
▪ Research marketing ideas for Monday morning Marketing meeting, present to Marketing Manager ahead of meeting for decision of which ideas to pitch to leadership
▪ Visit jobsites to ensure that they are properly branded inside and outside the jobsite trailer if the marketing manager cannot attend 2. Awards, Surveys & Industry Recognition
▪ Research upcoming project award submission deadlines to decide go/no-go on award submissions for TEXO, ENR, NAIOP, and other industry organizations
▪ Lead the creation of unique and creative award submissions for industry awards
▪ Submit and coordinate employee survey information for Top Places/Best Places to Work (DBJ and DMN)
▪ Submit annual ENR survey information 3. Marketing Administration, CRM & Reporting
▪ New Hire headshots
▪ Order nametags for new hires for their office and their mail slot
▪ Print business cards for employees / order business cards when applicable (for Leadership)
▪ Keep track and update Ridgemont Events spreadsheet to ensure correct participation
▪ Maintain organization in marketing swag storage room and safety equipment - replenish orders as needed, with approval of Marketing Manager
▪ Maintain stock of branded water bottles
▪ Participate in a weekly Marketing Meeting focused on:
▪ Marketing Strategy and Initiatives
▪ Marketing Deliverables
▪ Measurement & Improvement 4. Branding, Creative & Marketing Materials
▪ Assist Marketing Manager when needed to develop new branding ideas for the Ridgemont Store items and client gifts
▪ Assist Marketing Manager with graphics for various events and announcements as needed
▪ Researching new SWAG ideas for new hires, clients and general usage, present to Marketing Manager
▪ Check marketing paper/supply stock every three weeks; order paper for marketing use as needed
▪ Create welcome screen graphics for TV screens when clients come to our office at OptiSigns.com
▪ Oversee the deployment and tracking of Ridgemont-branded trailers
▪ Work closely with Marketing Manager on in-office branding designs and implementation 5. Social Media & External Communications
▪ Creation of engaging and trending posts
▪ Basic photography and camera operation skills
▪ Sharing of posts from other accounts that have to do with RCC
▪ Create quarterly Employee Spotlights for the Ridgemont Excellence Award recipient for social media and the website
▪ Create engaging posts for the Owners LinkedIn
▪ Search for social media/LinkedIn posts by architects and owners we work with and comment/like/share (should be weekly)
▪ Run Social Media Report for Followers/Best Type of Posts (should be monthly or quarterly) 6. Internal & External Events
▪ Work closely with the Marketing Manager on all internal and external events
▪ Lead the registration of conferences, TEXO events, job fairs, golf tournaments and events
▪ Lead the Thanksgiving Ham and Turkey distribution to RCC staff
▪ Trade show booth maintenance/set-up
▪ Golf tournament sponsorship tent set-up
▪ 5K tent set-up
▪ Attend groundbreakings, topping outs, ribbon cuttings, client events, taking pictures when possible 7. Philanthropy & Community Engagement
▪ Sit on or chair the Philanthropy Committee (encouraged to chair the committee for the first year of employment); assist Committee Chair with researching and interviewing key clients to help position ourselves through corporate service initiatives (charity events, volunteer work, etc.) Core Competencies / Skill Sets

▪ Basic understanding of photography / camera usage Requirements
▪ 2- or 4-year college degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications or Advertising
▪ 2+ years of marketing experience in the industry
▪ 2+ years of experience in producing proposals, marketing/sales literature
▪ 2+ years of experience planning corporate events
▪ CRM Software Experience or willing to learn
▪ Proficient in various computer applications; Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, etc.
▪ Proficient in Canva and AI Tools
▪ Understanding of Social Media Applications Compensation
