Job Summary A direct hire opportunity is available for a Business Development Manager - Tenant Improvement Construction in the Alhambra, CA area. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven construction sales professional with strong knowledge of commercial tenant improvement, commercial interiors, and the local real estate and construction market. This position offers the opportunity to join a growing tenant improvement general contractor specializing in high-quality office, retail, medical, and industrial interior projects. The Business Development Manager will play a key role in expanding market presence, building trusted partnerships, and aligning new project opportunities with estimating, preconstruction, and project management teams. This is a strong fit for a self-motivated business development professional who enjoys networking, creating opportunities, and representing a quality-focused construction team in the commercial real estate community. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a strategic business development plan targeting brokers, property managers, landlords, architects, developers, and repeat clients. Generate new tenant improvement project opportunities through networking, relationship building, industry involvement, and market intelligence. Maintain an active presence in the commercial real estate and construction community through events, associations, client meetings, and professional outreach. Partner with estimating, preconstruction, and operations teams to support proposals, presentations, and pursuit strategies. Track client activity, project opportunities, and pipeline information using a CRM or pipeline management tool. Support marketing initiatives such as case studies, project highlights, client success stories, and social media visibility.
Compensation and Benefits Salary range:
