The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing sales strategies, building high-performing teams, and achieving ambitious sales targets. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional relationship-building skills.
Compensation:
$140,000 - $172,000 yearlyResponsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue goals. Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to maximize performance. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reporting to senior leadership. Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support business objectives. Forecast sales trends and develop plans to address market changes. Recruit, train, and develop top sales talent. Manage budgets, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.Position requires travel:
Must be willing and able to travel locally, regionally, and occasionally overnight as business needs require. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight and interstate travel.Qualifications:
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales objectives. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools. Ability to develop strategic plans and execute effectively. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree (MBA) preferred. Experience in the Medium Voltage Distribution Market (Utility Market is a must) Established network within the Utility industry (PG&E, LADWP, SDG&E...)
