About the Opportunity Always Best Care Senior Services - Tri-Valley is seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to expand our professional referral network and generate new client growth throughout the Tri-Valley and surrounding East Bay communities. This is a field-based healthcare business development role focused on developing professional referral relationships, creating new opportunities, following up consistently, and converting relationships into qualified referrals, client assessments, Starts of Care, and sustainable business growth. The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys being in the field, building meaningful professional connections, developing accounts, and achieving measurable results. What You'll Do Develop and manage referral relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, assisted living and memory care communities, independent living communities, home health and hospice agencies, physician practices, geriatric care managers, senior organizations, elder-law professionals, and other healthcare partners. Build relationships that progress from initial introduction to qualified referral, assessment, and Start of Care. Identify high-potential accounts and develop strategic account plans. Conduct consistent face-to-face outreach, presentations, educational meetings, follow-up, and relationship-development activities. Become a trusted resource for professionals helping older adults remain safely at home or transition home from hospitals, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or senior living. Partner with agency leadership, operations, recruiting, and scheduling to help move qualified opportunities smoothly from referral to assessment and Start of Care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the CRM, including visits, contacts, relationship stages, opportunities, referrals, follow-up activities, and Starts of Care. Represent Always Best Care professionally in the field and maintain strong relationships with referral partners. Consistently prospect, follow up, and develop new business opportunities throughout the assigned territory. How Success Is Measured This is a results-driven position .
