Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and managing sales of diesel and electric air compressors, generators, forklifts, and related equipment and consumables for the abrasive blasting and painting industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the equipment rental and sales market, excellent relationship-building skills, and a passion for helping customers find the right solutions for their operational needs.
Key Responsibilities Sales Development:
Drive rentals and sales of diesel and electric air compressors, generators, forklifts, and abrasive blasting/painting equipment and consumables. Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory. Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers by providing exceptional service and tailored solutions.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build strong, lasting relationships with contractors, industrial clients, and other key stakeholders in the abrasive blasting and painting industry. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their equipment needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
Market Knowledge:
Stay current with industry trends, including advancements in equipment and consumables for abrasive blasting and painting. Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to differentiate products and services.
Territory Management:
Develop and implement a sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets for the assigned territory. Conduct regular site visits, product demonstrations, and meetings with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of rental and purchased equipment. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to provide customer insights and feedback for continuous improvement. Qualifications and Skills Proven sales experience in industrial equipment rental/sales or a related field, particularly in diesel and electric air compressors, generators, forklifts, abrasive blasting & painting equipment. Strong knowledge of the abrasive blasting and painting industry, including consumables, processes, and equipment requirements. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and develop long-term customer relationships. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently within a defined territory. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary of up to $60K plus generous commission/bonus structure .
