Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Area Supervisor to lead and manage retail operations across multiple store locations within a designated region. Duties Supervise and support multiple retail stores within the assigned area, ensuring consistent execution of company policies and standards Lead, motivate, and develop store management teams through coaching, training, and performance evaluations Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, pricing, and stock replenishment Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, cash handling procedures, and POS (Point of Sale) systems usage Manage staffing schedules, conduct interviewing processes for new hires, and facilitate employee orientation and training programs Monitor sales performance metrics to meet or exceed sales targets; implement strategies to improve retail sales and customer satisfaction Oversee budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and inventory control to optimize operational efficiency Skills Proven experience in retail management with supervisory or managerial roles; familiarity with retail sales team management is essential Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively across multiple locations Excellent communication skills including managerial communication, phone etiquette, and customer service expertise Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, pricing strategies, and operational management to maximize profitability Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases and team members Demonstrated ability in recruiting talent, conducting interviews, employee orientation, training & development Sound organizational skills with time management expertise to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with grocery or retail store product knowledge; familiarity with merchandising and stocking procedures Strong leadership qualities with supervisory experience in retail industry sales teams; adept at managing budgets and performing retail math calculations Join us as an Area Supervisor to lead vibrant teams across multiple locations!
