Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Area Supervisor to provide leadership and operational support across multiple high-volume quick-service restaurant locations. This role is responsible for driving strong operational performance, developing restaurant leaders, improving staffing and retention, and ensuring each location consistently meets company standards for service, quality, cleanliness, safety, and profitability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on multi-unit leader who builds strong relationships, develops talent, holds teams accountable, and is comfortable working directly in restaurant operations. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight for approximately 4-6 restaurant locations Coach, develop, and support General Managers and restaurant leadership teams Establish clear performance expectations and hold restaurant leaders accountable for results Identify, develop, and retain high-potential employees to build a strong leadership bench Monitor restaurant performance and develop action plans to improve operational and financial results Review key business metrics including sales, labor, food cost, staffing, turnover, service, and profitability Conduct regular restaurant visits and provide hands-on coaching and operational support Ensure restaurants consistently meet company standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, food safety, and workplace safety Partner with General Managers to improve hiring, training, employee engagement, and retention Support performance management and address leadership or employee concerns when necessary Assist restaurants with staffing challenges and leadership transitions Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently followed Support new initiatives, restaurant transitions, training programs, and organizational growth Build strong relationships with restaurant teams while maintaining accountability and high performance expectations Qualifications Previous quick service multi-unit restaurant leadership experience strongly preferred Experience supervising multiple restaurant locations or leading high-volume restaurant operations Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including labor management, food cost, training, staffing, and financial performance Demonstrated ability to coach and develop General Managers and other restaurant leaders Proven ability to identify and develop talent Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to analyze operational and financial results and create effective improvement plans Comfortable addressing performance issues and holding leaders accountable Ability to work independently while collaborating with senior leadership and support departments Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly between restaurant locations Schedule & Travel This is a field-based leadership position requiring frequent travel between restaurant locations. Candidates should have flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays based on business needs. The position generally requires 45 hours per week , with the majority of time spent supporting restaurant operations in the field.
