John Sr, former owner, and CEO/President of Masterbuilt, spent his life running the family business with the Ole Man and his siblings. From the age of 15, John II began working his way from the warehouse to departments like customer service, product development and marketing for the company with his dream of working with his dad just like John Sr did with the Ole Man. Their love of food came from cooking in their backyard with the Ole Man and in the kitchen with MeMaw, family and friends, camping trips and testing the latest invention for the family business. Today, they travel the country as masters of everything grilling and smoking sharing some of their favorite recipes, most memorable stories, and life lessons with all of you. From national TV, radio, podcasts, and social media; to NASCAR races, Super Bowl's or charitable events, they love meeting new friends, learning new recipes and sharing their expertise with you. Job Summary
  • The Partnerships Manager will play a key role in helping grow The McLemore Boys brand through strategic partnerships, sponsorships, media opportunities, events, and business development initiatives.
  • This individual will help manage and grow relationships with current and prospective partners while supporting activation execution across national events, social media campaigns, podcasts, TV opportunities, live experiences, and the "Grillin' Across America" Freedom Tour.
  • The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, relationship-driven, self-motivated, and thrives in fast-paced environments involving travel, entertainment, motorsports, media, food, and lifestyle branding.

Be curious, ask questions, show creativity and be a good team player. Build and maintain relationships with brand partners, sponsors, agencies, and media contacts. Assist in securing sponsorships and partnership opportunities for tours, live events, podcasts, TV opportunities, and digital campaigns. Coordinate partner deliverables including social media integrations, event activations, giveaways, content shoots, hospitality, and branded experiences. Help create sponsorship decks, one-sheets, presentations, proposals, and partnership recap reports. Work alongside internal team members to execute national events, NASCAR activations, VIP experiences, podcast recordings, and brand collaborations.
Travel required:
be present at events, activations, tour stops, content shoots, brand experiences, partnerships and brand meetings. Assist in managing partnership contracts, calendars, campaign timelines, and communication with sponsors and vendors. Identify opportunities for revenue growth through strategic partnerships, affiliate opportunities, merchandise collaborations, and experiential marketing. Support social media and content planning tied to partner campaigns and national media opportunities. Coordinate alongside with Tour Manager for logistics and communication for appearances, shoots, media days, and tour stops. Represent The McLemore Boys brand professionally during meetings, calls, events, and activations.

  • Experience in partnerships, sponsorships, marketing, media, sports marketing, entertainment, hospitality, or event coordination preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced and travel-heavy environments.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, influencer marketing, and brand collaboration strategies.
  • Experience with Canva, Shopify, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or project management tools is a plus.
  • Passion for food, grilling, motorsports, entertainment, Americana culture, and live events is strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for events, activations, and productions.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and servant-minded mentality.
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, partnerships, events, business development, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move event equipment when needed.
