Job Description

Childre Nissan is a family-owned and operated franchised dealership serving Middle Georgia. We are looking for an experienced, motivated Automotive Sales Manager to join our leadership team and take an active role in the day-to-day management of our sales department. We are looking for someone who knows how to run a sales floor, desk deals, close customers, coach salespeople, and drive performance . This is a hands-on management position for someone who enjoys being involved with the team and the deal—not sitting behind an office door. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the sales floor Desk and structure new and pre-owned vehicle deals Perform manager TOs and assist salespeople with closing customers Coach, train, and develop the sales team Hold salespeople accountable for daily activity, follow-up, appointments, and performance Monitor CRM activity and ensure internet leads and customer opportunities are handled promptly and properly Conduct daily sales meetings and maintain a motivated, professional sales environment Assist with trade appraisals and vehicle evaluations Work closely with the F&I department to ensure smooth deal flow and maximize opportunities Monitor daily and monthly sales performance and help the team achieve volume and gross-profit objectives Maintain high standards for customer experience and CSI Ensure dealership processes and manufacturer requirements are followed Work directly with ownership and senior management to continuously improve sales processes and department performance Qualifications Automotive dealership experience required Previous automotive sales management, desk management, or comparable leadership experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of deal structure, financing, trades, and dealership sales processes Proven ability to close deals and assist salespeople with difficult customers Strong leadership and coaching skills Comfortable holding employees accountable while maintaining a positive team environment Experience using an automotive CRM; VinSolutions experience is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Working knowledge of new and pre-owned vehicle operations Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record What We're Looking For We're looking for a manager who leads from the front . The right person should be comfortable jumping into a deal, helping a salesperson overcome an objection, reviewing CRM activity, coaching an employee, appraising a trade, or stepping in wherever necessary to keep the department moving. Compensation:
Competitive management compensation plan based on experience and performance. Qualified candidates with automotive dealership experience are encouraged to apply.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
