ABOUT THE ROLE
Federal Rent-A-Fence is scaling a disciplined, high-performance operating model across our branch network. This is a field-first leadership role for a hands-on operator who can elevate execution, improve Installer and Foreman performance, drive labor productivity, and protect margin while supporting sustainable growth.

) Increase Installer productivity — Improve Installer productivity through better preparation, training, and crew capability Drive measurable improvement in safety performance — reducing recordables, improving jobsite practices, and strengthening DOT compliance Improve fleet readiness and, prevent avoidable downtime and compliance risk Reduce panel damage, scrap, and unbilled loss through disciplined handling, documentation, and accountability Ensure inventory readiness through accurate and timely inventory counts and communication with Service Operations Managers Strengthen yard organization and loadout accuracy, reducing rework, missed materials, and customer friction Build consistent, repeatable field execution standards so performance does not depend on individual heroics Elevate foreman capability and installer performance, creating stronger crews and more reliable delivery
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Branch Operations & Execution Own daily branch execution: installation, service, and teardown performance Ensure yard organization, accurate inventory counts, organized for flow, staged loads Maintain material readiness — panels, posts, sandbags, stands, and accessories prepared to execute the schedule Eliminate rework, missed materials, and preventable customer friction Drive consistent adherence to Federal's operating standards and SOPs Crew Productivity & Performance Manage Installer and Foreman performance across all active crews Control overtime through better planning, readiness, and training Coach Foremen on jobsite leadership, quality, and safety expectations Hold team members accountable for safety/DOT compliance, attendance, work quality, and productivity Monitor install quality to benchmark performance and drive improvements through performance feedback and targeted training. Safety, Fleet & Compliance Own jobsite and yard safety standards — no shortcuts Reinforce safe lifting, panel handling, and proper installation practices Ensure trucks and tools are safe, compliant, and inspection-ready Maintain strong DOT performance and reduce preventable incidents Monitor safe driving practices and drive improvements through coaching and performance management. Lead by example in safety culture and enforcement Asset Protection & Damage Control Reduce panel damage, bent posts, and scrap through disciplined handling Ensure damaged materials are documented and properly processed Drive accountability around material care and jobsite discipline Customer Reliability & Local Relationships Ensure installs are completed on time and to quality standards Address customer issues quickly and professionally Support local sales efforts through strong execution and responsiveness Build credibility with contractors, municipalities, and event customers
Reporting:
This role reports to the VP of Operations and works in close partnership with the area-level Service Operations Manager.

COMPENSATION
Target Base Salary Range:
$85,000 - $110,000 (commensurate with experience and market).
Annual Bonus:
Eligible for a performance-based bonus paid in addition to base salary, calculated as a percentage of base pay.
