We are seeking a dynamic, relationship‑driven Director of Community Relations (Sales & Marketing) to lead outreach efforts, develop referral partnerships, and drive occupancy growth. This role guides prospective residents and families through the decision‑making process with warmth, professionalism, and expertise, while executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives that support consistent move‑ins.

The Director of Community Relations serves as the community's primary ambassador and growth leader, blending strong relationship‑building with disciplined sales execution.

Core ResponsibilitiesRelationship Development & Community Outreach Build, strengthen, and maintain positive relationships with prospective residents, families, and professional referral partners Develop and grow referral partnerships that support ongoing lead generation and occupancy goals Represent the community at internal events, networking functions, professional meetings, and community outreach activities Sales & Occupancy Leadership Manage the full sales lifecycle, including inquiry response, prospect qualification, discovery conversations, tours, deposits, and move‑ins Convert qualified inquiries into tours and translate tours into deposits and successful move‑ins Conduct engaging, informative tours that showcase the community's services, lifestyle, culture, and care philosophy Provide education, guidance, and reassurance to families navigating emotional and financial decisions Marketing & Market Awareness Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to increase community visibility and brand presence Stay informed on local market conditions, competition, and senior living trends to adapt sales and outreach strategies Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment between marketing efforts, customer experience, and community operations Performance Management & Reporting Track leads, tours, referrals, and conversions using CRM systems Monitor occupancy trends, sales performance, and marketing effectiveness Report results and continuously refine strategies to meet or exceed occupancy goals Leadership & Collaboration Serve as the community's primary sales and relationship representative Partner closely with the Executive Director and leadership team to enhance the resident and family experience Collaborate with operations and clinical teams to support smooth move‑ins and strong resident satisfaction Qualifications Proven experience in sales, marketing, move‑ins, or community relations Senior living experience required; Assisted Living and/or Memory Care experience strongly preferred Demonstrated success achieving sales targets and driving occupancy growth Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills Confidence conducting discovery conversations and guiding families through complex decisions Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively Proficiency with CRM systems and marketing tools Ability to work independently, prioritize leads, and manage multiple prospects Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred) Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Performance‑based bonus opportunities Comprehensive health insurance Paid time off and holidays Professional growth and leadership development opportunities Opportunity to represent a respected Assisted Living and Memory Care community Job Duty Disclaimer This job description outlines primary responsibilities and expectations but is not all‑inclusive.
