40-60% Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive market development and sales of advanced legged robotic solutions across the U.S. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics, industrial automation, capital equipment, or field technology and experience developing new business in technical B2B markets. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Identify and develop new business opportunities across industrial, energy, defense, construction, and research markets. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through on-site demonstrations, POCs, negotiation, and deal closure. Convert pilot projects and POCs into production orders, fleet deployments, and multi-site opportunities. Conduct customer demonstrations and field trials and clearly communicate the operational and financial value of robotic solutions. Build relationships with key decision-makers, system integrators, distributors, VARs, OEMs, and strategic partners. Collaborate with engineering and product teams on customer requirements, sensor/payload integration, and solution development. Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, CRM activity, and territory planning. Represent the company at customer sites, trade shows, conferences, and industry events. Qualifications 6+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in robotics, industrial automation, capital equipment, or field technology. Proven experience selling complex hardware, software, and service-based technical solutions. Demonstrated success managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting, demonstrations/POCs, negotiation, and closing. Experience selling into at least one of the following markets: industrial/energy, defense/public safety, construction/infrastructure, or research institutions. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals. Strong technical communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills. Ability and willingness to conduct product demonstrations in industrial and outdoor field environments. Willingness to travel 40-60%. Valid U.S. driver's license and authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Direct sales experience with quadruped/legged robots, mobile robots, UGVs, AMRs, or enterprise drones. Experience with industrial inspection, autonomous robotics, or sensing technologies such as thermal, acoustic, gas detection, or LiDAR. Experience developing new markets, channel partners, or strategic accounts in a Zero-to-One environment. Existing network of system integrators, VARs, OEMs, distributors, or end users. Experience with U.S. defense, public-sector, or government procurement. Familiarity with ROS/ROS 2, autonomous systems, or robot fleet management platforms. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Business Administration, or a related field.
