Position SummaryThe Area Sales Manager drives growth in SIMCOs calibration and service portfolio by renewing existing customer agreements on time, implementing annual price increases, and expanding market share through new business acquisitions. This role requires consistent territory coverage, disciplined pipeline development, and skilled application of value-based selling. Success in this position comes from understanding customer motivations, differentiating SIMCO beyond price, and achieving strong, steady performance across all key measures.

Core Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a territory plan to grow revenue and market shareMaintain accurate pipeline and forecasting within CRM (Salesforce)Conduct customer discovery to identify business drivers and decision criteriaDifferentiate SIMCOs value proposition to win competitive opportunitiesDrive deal progression and manage complex opportunities through a structured sales processCollaborate with internal teams to drive customer satisfaction and retentionReview and inspect pipeline regularly to ensure deal quality and momentumAccurately forecast a sufficient volume of new bookings to consistently achieve quota targetsTrack key metrics such as win rate, deal cycle time, and renewal completionQualifications:
Proven sales success with track record of meeting or exceeding quotaStrong territory management and prospecting skillsDemonstrated ability to sell value over priceProficient in Salesforce or comparable CRM platformsResourceful sales professional with expertise in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceBehavioral and Cultural Competencies:
