Full Job Description Job Purpose:
Lead hotel sales systems, data integrity, and sales processes while producing Business Transient and Wedding revenue. Partner with Sales, Revenue, Marketing, Catering, and Operations to strengthen pipeline accuracy, forecasting, and rate strategy to grow profitable rooms and event revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Own Hilton sales systems, data quality, and reporting to ensure accurate and efficient sales operations. Build, train, and audit sales procedures to maintain high standards and drive sales effectiveness. Research and prospect Business Transient (BT) and wedding markets to identify new revenue opportunities. Negotiate and close BT accounts and wedding contracts to achieve revenue targets. Collaborate with Revenue, Marketing, and Catering teams to optimize sales strategies and enhance customer satisfaction. Lead the sales department when delegated, ensuring smooth operations and effective team management. Maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to foster long-term business growth. Utilize advanced Hilton sales systems and Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and auditing. Conduct training sessions and write procedures to enhance team capabilities and adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot sales system issues and provide solutions to maintain operational efficiency. Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience:
Prior sales experience at a full-service Hilton hotel Proficient in PEP, Delphi, FastPay, R&I, GRO, OnQ SM, Meeting Broker, and Cvent Proven prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills Strong Excel, reporting, training, and communication skills Flexible schedule and ability to travel locally
Preferred Experience:
3+ years of full-service hotel sales experience, including leadership and Business Transient or Weddings ownership Experience with BT accounts, RFPs, wedding sales, and contracting Hilton system certifications or conversion/audit experience
