Job Description

Merrow Superior LLC, part of the Merrow Group, is seeking a Channel Sales Manager to grow our business with independent sewing, vacuum, repair and specialty retail dealers. This is a business-development and channel-growth role , not a traditional account-management position. You will be responsible for developing our sewing, vacuum and specialty repair dealer channel: identifying high-potential prospects, opening new accounts, expanding existing relationships, understanding what products and services these businesses need, and helping Superior build a stronger and more competitive offering for the market. We are looking for someone who is comfortable building business, not simply managing an established book of accounts. What You'll Do Develop and execute a growth plan for the sewing, vacuum and specialty repair dealer channel. Identify, prioritize and pursue high-potential dealers and prospects. Build and maintain an active qualified sales pipeline. Win new customers and reactivate previously inactive accounts. Grow existing customers through parts, consumables, tools and adjacent product categories. Learn how different dealer types buy, what they sell and service, and where Superior can add value. Conduct meaningful customer discovery around products, pricing, availability, competition and technical needs. Identify competitive products, assortment gaps and new sales opportunities. Work with Purchasing, Product and Supplier teams to improve products, stocking, pricing and supplier solutions based on what you learn in the market. Maintain accurate CRM opportunities, next steps and pipeline information. Track results and continuously improve the sales approach based on what is working. What Success Looks Like Success in this role will be measured by: Profitable channel revenue growth New customer acquisition Growth within existing dealer accounts Development of a strong qualified opportunity pipeline Sales conversion and speed from opportunity to first order Gross profit performance Actionable customer and competitive intelligence that leads to business decisions What We're Looking For Experience in business development, outside sales, channel sales or dealer development Experience selling to independent dealers, specialty retailers, repair/service businesses or distributor channels is strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to prospect and win new business Strong commercial judgment around pricing, margins, customer economics and negotiation Ability to learn technical products and communicate product/application information credibly Comfortable helping develop and refine a sales strategy as we expand the channel Strong follow-through and organizational discipline Comfortable using CRM and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with internal sales, customer experience, purchasing and product teams Experience in the sewing machine, vacuum, appliance repair, specialty retail, parts distribution or related dealer markets is especially valuable. First 90 Days During your first 90 days, you will work with leadership to: Segment and prioritize our existing dealer and prospect base Build a focused list of the highest-value target accounts Conduct structured customer and market discovery Develop an initial qualified sales pipeline Identify the products and programs most likely to resonate with dealers Begin converting new and reactivated dealers into recurring customers Compensation Base salary: Base salary commensurate with experience. The position also includes meaningful performance-based incentive compensation tied to profitable channel growth, new business development and overall sales results. Location & Travel Fall River, MA. This is primarily an office-based position, with flexibility considered based on experience, market coverage and the requirements of the role Travel is expected as needed to visit customers, develop strategic accounts, attend industry events and build the channel. Schedule, compensation, and benefits Full-time, Monday-Friday, on-site at Fall River, MA office. Pay:
