Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced, growth-minded PEO Business Development Executive to help expand its Professional Employer Organization (PEO) business throughout the Northeast and New England markets . This is a consultative sales role focused on helping small and mid-sized businesses solve challenges across HR, payroll, employee benefits, risk management, and workforce strategy . The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder who knows how to develop new opportunities, navigate a multi-step sales process, and build lasting partnerships with business owners and key decision-makers. The position will focus on developing business across the region, with a strong preference for candidates located in Upstate New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Connecticut . This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who wants to join a growing organization with a broad range of solutions and resources behind them. What You'll Do Drive new business growth for the organization's PEO division throughout the Northeast and New England markets Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects Identify and connect with business owners, executives, HR leaders, and other key decision-makers Prospect through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships Conduct consultative conversations to understand each prospect's business and workforce challenges Position PEO solutions across payroll, HR, employee benefits, risk management, and related services Build relationships with internal partners and referral sources to uncover additional opportunities Manage prospects throughout the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through proposal and close Deliver presentations and proposals tailored to each prospective client's needs Maintain accurate pipeline activity, prospect information, and sales forecasts Consistently work toward individual sales and revenue goals Stay informed on PEO, HCM, HR, benefits, and workforce trends that impact prospective clients What We're Looking For 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience Experience selling PEO, HCM, payroll, HR technology, employee benefits, or related business services strongly preferred Located in or well-positioned to develop business throughout the Northeast and New England markets Strong preference for candidates based in Upstate New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Connecticut Demonstrated ability to generate new business and build a pipeline through proactive prospecting Strong consultative and solution-based selling skills Comfortable engaging business owners and executive-level decision-makers Experience managing longer, multi-stage B2B sales cycles Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory and pipeline independently Comfortable utilizing CRM, prospecting, and sales technology Why Consider This Opportunity?
