As a Dual Director of Sales, you will lead sales efforts for two hotel properties, develop strategic sales plans, build strong client relationships, and identify opportunities to maximize revenue and market share. Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, community involvement, and relationship building.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, group clients, travel professionals, and local businesses.
Conduct sales appointments, property tours, client meetings, and outside sales calls.
Make consistent prospecting and cold calls to generate new business.
Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and revenue performance to identify opportunities for growth.
Utilize Star Reports, demand analysis, revenue management strategies, and applicable sales/front office systems to support business decisions.
Track and maintain accurate sales activity, account information, leads, and production.
Provide sales training, coaching, and support to hotel team members as applicable.
Partner with hotel leadership and operations teams to ensure successful execution of group and business accounts.
Represent the hotels at community, networking, and industry events.
Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as directed by hotel leadership.
Perform General Manager duties in the General Manager's absence, as applicable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For2+ years of hotel sales experience, preferably in a Director of Sales or comparable leadership role.
Experience in a Select Service or Extended Stay hotel environment preferred.
Previous Dual Director of Sales or multi-property sales experience preferred.
Strong prospecting, networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to develop new business and achieve sales goals.
Strong understanding of hotel sales strategies, revenue management, and market trends.
Knowledge of brand-specific sales tools and systems.
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hotel leadership and operations teams.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
Associate degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered.
