Whitley Recruiting, on behalf of its client, is hiring a Sales Manager for a premier independent jewelry retailer with locations in Wilmington, Shallotte, and Hampstead, North Carolina. Our client is recognized among the top 5% of independent jewelers in the U.S. Ideal candidate has a proven track record managing a jewelry sales floor for an independent jeweler, with strong KPI knowledge and the leadership ability to consistently drive sales growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily sales floor ops to ensure exceptional customer experience Lead team to meet and exceed goals and KPIs Uphold high standards of professionalism, brand presentation, and service Performance Analysis & Strategy Monitor and analyze KPIs, including: Average Ticket Items per Sale Sales Per Hour Conversion Rate Inventory Turnover Identify trends and areas of opportunity and implement strategic action plans Sales Training & Development Conduct weekly sales training sessions Provide one-on-one coaching, evaluations, and development Develop confident, knowledgeable, and performance-driven professionals Implement and manage structured Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) Deliver clear, constructive, and actionable feedback to support individual growth Team Leadership & Culture Motivate, inspire, and lead the team by example Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable sales culture Qualifications Proven experience managing a multi-million-dollar jewelry sales floor for an independent jeweler in the U.S. Strong understanding of retail KPIs and experience driving measurable sales growth Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills Experience conducting sales training and performance evaluations Comfortable delivering constructive feedback and managing performance improvement This is an opportunity to lead within a respected, high-performing independent jewelry brand with a loyal customer base and a strong market presence.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
