1. Check schedules during the week before they are in effect to ensure units are properly staffed and have a solid plan for the week. 2. Review daily numbers each day of work and call each manager to coach and praise their results. 3. Work lunch and dinner. Ensure that all restaurants are providing Quality Food, Fast & Friendly. 4. Perform one
EVAL/FACTS
inspection each week to teach people how to properly run a restaurant. 5. Responsible for training all management personnel. 6. Ensure and people are properly trained to do their jobs. 7. Ensure that accurate paperwork is turned into the office weekly and that all deposits are validated by the bank on time. 8. Provide leadership by engendering excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude and commitment to company objectives. 9. Ensure that correct inventory levels are kept, and all equipment is maintained in excellent condition. 10. Set an example by maintaining excellent working knowledge and a high level of proficiency in the performance of all phases of Unit Operations. 11. Supervise in accordance with established performance and operating policies as set out in the Operations Manual. 12. Ensure that all restaurants are providing Quality Food, Fast & Friendly. 13. Work with and motivate Managers and Assistant Managers to perform up to their highest possible level of ability. 14. Develop management skills of all personnel to continue company growth and Unit Manager promotions. Review tests and performance appraisals of all Management Trainees. Participate in training program. 15. Assume responsibility for attaining a favorable variance to standard. Analyze and review Weekly Recaps, Income Statements, for each unit, and other support documents, and take appropriate action to maintain company standards. Personally, take an inventory at one unit each period. 16. Communicate effectively with subordinates, associates, supervisors and others about plan, progress and problems. 17. Recommend and implement, with the Marketing Department, Local Store Marketing ideas. 18. Participate in the development of company policies and standards, salary and incentive plans, annual forecast, product research and development, equipment research and development, training program and management development. 19.
