Job Description
Cobblestone Creek Country Club , located in Victor, NY , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Catering Sales Manager ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Pay:
$55,000.00- $70,000.
Key Responsibilities:
Sells and coordinates various event types, including private events, catering events, weddings, business meetings, and social events. Handles inquiries, creates interest through outbound selling, conducts sales site tours, creates estimates, finalizes sales, and prepares sales agreements, BEOs, and event details in advance; manages all deposits and payments to ensure the event is paid in full. Assists in seeking new business and ensures return business to meet or exceed revenue goals. Participates in pre-event presentations, property tours, and customer meetings. Does not handle day-of execution; hands off the event to the Food and Beverage team for successful execution. Helps develop and execute a sales and marketing plan, including social media marketing, to increase exposure and revenue growth. Prepares and compiles data for various reports, such as Weekly Catering Revenue Forecasts, as directed. Assists in the development of catering and banquet menus, banquet wine lists and bar menus, pricing, catering contracts, and rental fees. Develops and maintains vendor profiles, including audiovisual, floral, equipment rental, and photographers. Ensures accurate and timely invoicing for all services rendered, including recording events in the POS system. Develops banquet event orders and participates in weekly sales meetings to review department progress, as well as weekly BEO meetings with the Food and Beverage team to discuss event details and help ensure successful execution. Monitors business volume forecasts and communicates with the Food and Beverage team regarding needed staffing, equipment, and other expenses for upcoming events. Assists in producing and updating the competitive price set annually. Implements and maintains excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction. Follows all changes to policies and procedures in the department. Maintains regular and reliable attendance.Benefits & Other Compensation:
