Sales Manager - Industrial Markets (Specialty Chemicals, Lubricants, Coatings, Sealants) Ready to take ownership of a market and turn opportunity into measurable revenue growth? Our client in Solon, OH is already successful and very stable. They seek a strong sales performer to join their growth journey! We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Sales Manager to lead business development efforts within industrial markets (specialty chemicals, lubricants, coatings, sealants). This is a high-impact, front-line role focused on generating new revenue, expanding market presence, and converting opportunities into long-term business. This is not an account maintenance position—this role is built for someone who thrives on hunting, building, and owning growth within their territory. Key Responsibilities Prospect, develop, and close new business across targeted markets and geographies Build and maintain relationships with customers, distributors, and end users Identify new applications and opportunities for product utilization Execute against revenue and margin targets with strong follow-through Manage pricing, terms, and commercial negotiations Maintain an active sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting Monitor competitive activity and adjust market approach as needed Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, customer service, and product teams to ensure successful delivery What Success Looks Like Consistent new business development and strong pipeline conversion Measurable year-over-year revenue and gross profit growth Expansion into new customers, markets, or applications High level of sales activity with disciplined execution and follow-up Clear ownership of territory performance and results Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or industrial markets Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, or related industries preferred Proven ability to generate leads, build pipeline, and close deals Strong commercial acumen and ability to operate independently Comfortable working in plant environments and customer-facing settings High sense of ownership with a proactive, results-oriented mindset Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems (Sage experience a plus) Call or email us your resume today! #
