Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership:
Direct day-to-day dealership sales operations, desking deals, and managing sales pipeline efficiency to exceed monthly volume and gross profit goals.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and mentor dealership sales reps, desk managers, and F&I staff to foster a high-performing team culture.
Inventory & Used Car Management:
Manage new and used vehicle inventory acquisition, trade-in appraisals, reconditioning timelines, pricing, and market aging.
Digital & CRM Operations:
Oversee sales leads through dealership CRM systems, ensuring high response rates and customer conversion.
Customer Retention:
Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores by resolving customer concerns and enforcing transparent sales processes.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
3+ years of experience as an Automotive Sales Manager, Desk Manager, Used Car Manager, or General Sales Manager (GSM) in a franchise car dealership.
Software Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with automotive tools such as vAuto, VinSolutions, Dealertrack, or similar dealership management software (DMS/CRM).
Financial Acumen:
Strong understanding of dealership P&L, deal structuring, gross profit optimization, and F&I processes.
Licensing:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
