Job Description
Position Overview Wyndridge Farm is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead sales growth for our beer and cider portfolio while serving as a key representative of the Wyndridge brand. This customer and account facing position is responsible for developing new business, strengthening existing account relationships, supporting distributor partnerships, and delivering a consistently high level of customer service. The Sales Manager will take an active role in the market through regular communication, account visits, sales calls, and relationship development. Key Responsibilities Drive wholesale sales growth across Wyndridge Farm's beer and cider portfolio. Develop new business through prospecting, sales calls, account visits, networking, and industry relationships. Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, restaurants, bars, retailers, grocery stores, and other accounts. Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and professional communication and service. Conduct account visits, sales meetings, tastings, and product presentations. Collaborate with distributor partners and sales teams to increase product placements, visibility, and sales volume. Represent Wyndridge Farm professionally in the marketplace and uphold company brand standards. Identify new accounts, partnerships, territories, and opportunities for continued growth. Maintain accurate customer, order, pricing, invoicing, and sales information. Utilize accounting software to manage invoicing, customer accounts, sales records, and related day-to-day responsibilities. Assist with accounts receivable communication and customer account matters as needed. Monitor sales performance and provide regular reporting to company leadership. Coordinate with production to communicate sales forecasts, product demand, and upcoming opportunities. Support seasonal releases, new product launches, promotions, tastings, and industry events. Address customer questions or concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution. Qualifications Previous professional sales experience required. Experience within beer, cider, wine, spirits, beverage distribution, or a related industry strongly preferred. Previous experience using accounting software required. Strong customer service and relationship-management skills. Proven ability to develop new business and maintain long-term customer relationships. Comfortable making outbound sales calls, establishing new connections, and pursuing sales opportunities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized planning with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Professional and confident when representing Wyndridge Farm with customers and industry partners. Working knowledge of invoicing, customer accounts, pricing, and accounts receivable. Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable for results. Ability to effectively balance customer-facing sales activities with administrative responsibilities. Willingness to manage assigned markets, visit accounts, and attend industry events as needed. Position Expectations The Sales Manager will maintain an active presence in the market, strengthen existing customer and distributor relationships, develop new accounts, and consistently pursue opportunities to grow Wyndridge Farm's beer and cider business. The successful candidate will bring proven sales experience, strong customer service and communication skills, accounting software experience, and the ability to represent Wyndridge Farm with professionalism while building lasting business relationships. Compensation This position includes a base salary with the opportunity to earn additional compensation through a commission-based incentive structure . Commission eligibility begins following the successful completion of the initial 90-day introductory period .
