The opportunity Are you passionate about driving growth, building customer relationships, and advancing the future of electrical infrastructure? Join Hitachi Energy as an Area Sales Manager supporting the High Voltage business unit and help expand our presence across the Southeast region in North America. In this highly visible role, you will combine your technical expertise and commercial acumen to promote industry-leading high voltage breaker solutions while supporting customers, sales teams, and strategic business initiatives. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, helping develop winning sales strategies, identifying new market opportunities, and delivering technical and commercial solutions that address evolving customer needs. Working closely with sales, engineering, marketing, and product management teams, you will play a key role in expanding market share, strengthening customer partnerships, and contributing to the growth of a global technology leader committed to a sustainable energy future. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines. How you'll make an impact Drive sales growth and business development for high voltage breaker solutions Promote products through customer meetings, webinars, presentations, and seminars Develop technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with bid and proposal teams Identify and pursue new business opportunities and emerging market segments Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements Support customers with technical expertise and application guidance Participate in customer discussions, technical clarifications, and site visits Develop sales forecasts and help achieve revenue, order, and profitability targets Your background Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 7 years of sales and/or marketing experience Experience in the electrical industry; high voltage breaker experience preferred Strong communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills Ability to develop business strategies and manage multiple priorities effectively Willingness to travel approximately 30% or more as required More about us Join a global technology leader committed to advancing a sustainable energy future Grow through continuous learning, mentorship, and career development opportunities Work in an inclusive environment that values collaboration, innovation, and integrity What We Offer Comprehensive Health Coverage
