5+ Years in Beverage/CPG Sales The Vibe At Outlaw Light Beer , we don't do "corporate beige." We're the brand for the rule-breakers, the weekend warriors, and everyone who thinks a light beer should actually taste like something. We're growing fast, and we need an Area Sales Manager who has the grit and the charisma to to bring the territory to the next level. If you're more comfortable in a bar or a distributor's warehouse than a cubicle, you're our kind of outlaw. The Mission Your job is to put Outlaw Light Beer in every hand, tap handle, and cooler in your territory. You'll be the face of the brand, managing distributor relationships and ensuring our liquid is moving off the shelves.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Volume:
Execute sales strategies to hit (and exceed) monthly and quarterly case goals. Own the
Territory:
Identify and open new "on-premise" (bars/restaurants) and "off-premise" (liquor stores/grocery) accounts.
Distributor Management:
Work hand-in-hand with distributor reps. You're there to motivate them, educate them, and plan the business.
Brand Activation:
Coordinate and execute high-energy sampling events, tap takeovers, and promotions.
Market Intelligence:
Keep your ear to the ground. Track competitor moves and identify local trends before they go mainstream.
Who You Are A Natural Closer:
You don't just take "no" for an answer; you treat it as the start of a conversation.
The Networker:
You probably already know the best bar owners and beverage directors in town.
Self-Starter:
You'll be working remotely. We won't be hovering over your shoulder, so you need the discipline to manage your own calendar.
Road Warrior:
You're happy to spend 80% of your time in the field, hitting accounts and burning rubber. The Requirements 5+ years of experience in beer, wine, spirits, or CPG sales. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record (you'll be moving around a lot). Strong communication skills—you can talk shop with a CEO and a bartender in the same hour. Ability to lift and move cases of beer (approx. 35 lbs) and maneuver kegs when necessary. The Perks Salary $70K-80K +
