(The Management Association) is seeking a Business Development Manager. Ideally, we are looking for an experienced HR pro with a creative, problem-solving nature. This business development position in a professional services organization provides its members with a broad range of HR services, including training, a 24/7 compliance hotline, daily content, surveys, compensation support, 84 special interest professional roundtables, and recruitment and retention services. Qualifications:
Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in sales or business development.

Technical Skills:

Appropriate personal computer (PC) competence on various software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Competencies:

Ability to quickly learn and effectively communicate a wide range of product offerings.

Other Requirements:

The ability to travel within assigned territory to meet with members and prospects on-site.

Preferred Education:

Association Management or Human Resource-related field.

Experience:

Inside or outside sales experience.

Performance:

Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals, with a strong focus on meeting activity targets and performance metrics.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems; experience with Salesforce. What's in it for you? Competitive base and incentive pay
