- fruit & vegetable powders, juice powders, plant proteins, and freeze-dried fruits and vegetables
- serving supplement brands and food & beverage manufacturers across North America. We are not a trading company
- we own the supply chain. Our family began farming in 1999 with 130 acres of sandy land and one crop, asparagus (it's still in our logo). Today that has grown to 2,700 certified-organic acres plus 1,400 conventional, farmed with 1,600 growers
- and our organic vegetables were chosen to supply the Beijing Olympic Games, twice (2008 and 2022).
- we are expanding our U.S. sales team to keep up. This is a rare setup for someone early in their sales career: you will be trained directly by the company president and our national sales manager, work with real inbound demand in a growing category, and build your own account base with the support of a vertically integrated supply chain that competitors can't easily match. What you'll do
- Develop new business with supplement brands, contract manufacturers, and food & beverage companies in Southern California and assigned territories
- Get in front of customers: a typical week includes 2-3 days of in-person customer visits and 2 days in our Orange County office working alongside the president
- Manage and grow existing accounts
- follow up on samples, quotes, and orders from first call to reorder
- Represent QIMEI at industry trade shows (Expo West, SupplySide West, and others)
- Work daily with our overseas sourcing and QA teams on specs, documentation, and shipments
- Keep clean records of accounts, contacts, and opportunities in our CRM What we're looking for
- 1-3 years of B2B sales or account management experience (food, ingredient, nutrition, or CPG industry a plus
- not required; we will teach you the products)
- Hungry, coachable, and genuinely comfortable with face-to-face selling
- you'd rather visit a customer than send a fifth email
- Strong follow-up habits and attention to detail (specs, COAs, and paperwork matter in this industry)
- Able to work from our Orange County office (Irvine / Laguna Hills area) about 2 days per week
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed)
- Bachelor's degree preferred; Mandarin Chinese a plus, not required What you'll get
- $55,000
- 65,000 base salary, depending on experience
- Uncapped commission on all your sales
