Job Summary Cabinet IQ is transforming the cabinet and countertop industry by pairing world-class technology with an exceptional customer experience. To accelerate our local expansion, we are looking for an ambitious, proactive Business Development Manager . In this role, you will be the face of Cabinet IQ to the local building and remodeling community, establishing recurring B2B partnerships with custom home builders, general contractors, interior designers, and property renovators. What You'll Do Proactively prospect, identify, and sign new trade accounts across the local market through outbound visits, job-site walk-ins, phone outreach, and active local networking. Position Cabinet IQ as the primary cabinet and countertop partner for builders, remodelers, and independent design firms. Host builder and designer product previews, trade lunch-and-learns, and networking mixers inside our state-of-the-art showroom. Work hand-in-hand with our design and operations team to ensure your trade partners' custom quotes, submittals, and orders run seamlessly. Manage an active pipeline of upcoming residential and light-commercial projects within our CRM to consistently hit monthly revenue and account-acquisition goals. Actively engage in local building associations (e.g., Home Builders Association, Chamber of Commerce, and local trade events) to build brand awareness. Your Experience & Skills 5+ years of successful B2B sales or business development experience (experience in residential construction, building materials, or kitchen/bath design is a strong plus). Proven track record of cold prospecting, pipeline development, and closing long-term commercial accounts. Well-connected or comfortable navigating local networks of general contractors, home builders, and interior designers. Highly organized, self-motivated, and disciplined with territory management and daily CRM tracking. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with natural consultative closing ability. Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation for local job-site visits and client meetings.
