This role focuses on corporate partnerships, earned-income initiatives, institutional grants, and strategic alliances. You will conduct market research, pitch value propositions to business leaders, and collaborate with the VHR team to turn innovative ideas into sustainable funding streams. Key Responsibilities Partnership & Corporate Relations
  • Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC)
Growth:
Grow and retain CVC membership by establishing a pipeline of corporate partners and sponsors.
    Relationship Management:
    Cultivate long-term relationships with corporate executives, volunteer engagement professionals, and community engagement officers. Lead the full sales/partnership lifecycle, from initial outreach and discovery calls to proposal drafting, membership development, and closing.
      Meet & Exceed Annual Revenue Goals:
      Establish a plan for meeting and exceeding annual CVC membership revenue and sponsorship goals. This includes, but is not limited to, sponsorships for the Volunteer Achievement Awards, Civic 50, Family Volunteer Day, corporate activations, and training.
        Grant Acquisition:
        Identify, write, and submit high-impact sponsorship grant proposals.
          CRM Tracking:
          Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all pipelines, prospective clients, and partner interactions using VHR's Hands On Connect/Salesforce software. Qualifications & Skills Education & Experience
            Education:
            Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Marketing. Preferred but not required.
              Experience:
              3 to 5+ years of progressive experience in business development, corporate relations, or institutional fundraising within the nonprofit or professional services sector.
                Track Record:
                Proven success in securing major corporate sponsorships, grants, or net-new revenue contracts preferred. Core Competencies
                  Communication:
                  Exceptional verbal, written, and public-speaking skills with the ability to act as a persuasive storyteller and executive presenter.
                    Project Management:
                    Strong organizational skills to manage multiple proposals, deadlines, and partnerships simultaneously.
                      Technical Literacy:
                      Proficiency with CRM software and digital research tools.

                        A deep-rooted passion for volunteerism and a commitment to community engagement and impact. Compensation & Benefits
                        • Paid on an hourly basis at a rate of $24.00 per hour. As a part-time employee (Approximately 25 hours per week), you will be required to enter your work hours through your ADP employee portal. Occasional evenings or weekends (approximately 3-4 times per year).
                        • VHR will provide a laptop computer for business use. The laptop will remain the property of VHR and the use governed by the electronic property and equipment policy.
                        • After 90 days of employment, you would qualify for 401(k) matching.
