This field-based role manages the provider-development cycle from prospecting and office visits through onboarding, relationship management, CRM documentation, and measurable business growth. What You Will Do Develop and execute a provider-focused territory plan to generate qualified opportunities, new accounts, and sustainable revenue growth. Identify and cultivate relationships with physicians, medical practices, clinics, referral partners, and other appropriate healthcare organizations. Conduct regular provider office visits, presentations, networking activities, and follow-up meetings to advance business opportunities. Manage the sales pipeline from initial contact through onboarding, maintaining timely follow-up and clear next steps. Serve as a relationship resource for assigned provider accounts by identifying needs, coordinating issue resolution, and supporting retention and growth. Maintain complete and timely CRM and calendar documentation for provider contacts, meetings, opportunities, commitments, activity, and outcomes. Track provider activity, referral trends, pipeline progress, and sales results; provide regular updates to leadership and meet established activity and growth expectations. Maintain a strong understanding of Company services and approved value propositions; partner with pharmacy operations to support accurate communication and successful provider onboarding. Represent Val Vista Pharmacy professionally and compliantly, protect confidential information, complete required business records and expenses, and perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Three (3) or more years of business development, outside sales, provider relations, or account management experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or a closely related industry. Demonstrated success developing physician/provider relationships and achieving measurable sales or growth objectives. Experience using a CRM or sales-tracking system to manage pipeline activity, follow-up, documentation, and reporting. Strong communication, presentation, organization, relationship-building, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a field-based role. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, regular territory travel, and ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable business-conduct standards. Preferred Qualifications Five (5) or more years of provider-facing growth experience, with direct independent, compounding, specialty, community, or other small-to-midsize pharmacy experience strongly preferred. Successful territory-growth experience, established Arizona provider relationships, and/or a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience. Physical Requirements Ability to travel throughout the territory, use standard business technology, and perform typical field-based work activities, with or without reasonable accommodation. Work Environment Primarily field-based, with regular provider-office travel and occasional onsite, remote, community, or industry-event work. The role requires independent schedule management, timely communication, accurate CRM/calendar use, and occasional early-morning or evening events.
