Job Description

Job Summary The Assistant Sales Manager & Program Manager will oversee key automotive customer business, global account activities, sales strategy, and program management. This role is responsible for developing business strategies, supporting customer relationships, managing product design-in and development activities, and coordinating with internal engineering, design, manufacturing, marketing, and sales teams. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business strategies and tactical plans to achieve account objectives.
  • Establish and manage sales objectives and plans for assigned business divisions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and prospects while promoting products and technologies.
  • Gather customer requirements and develop appropriate interconnect and connector solutions.
  • Support product design-in, development, and utilization of standard, custom, and semi-custom products.
  • Prepare sales analysis, forecasts, budgets, and business performance reports.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly business updates to executive management.
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, engineering, design, and manufacturing teams on new product development.
  • Support pricing and commercial decisions for standard/custom products, tooling, and engineering costs within established guidelines.
  • Oversee activities involving independent sales representatives, direct sales engineers, and distribution partners.
  • Support hiring, performance management, and development of sales personnel when applicable.
  • Represent the organization at industry trade shows and business functions.
  • Support global business strategy and execution of strategic initiatives. Technical Responsibilities
  • Interface with OEM applications and connector product design teams.
  • Understand connector component materials and application requirements.
  • Apply knowledge of GD&T, electrical/electronic signal characteristics, thermal properties, and connector design .

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field — Required
  • Graduate Degree — Preferred
  • 5+ years of Sales Management experience — Required
  • Experience with connectors or electronic components — Required
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of products and applications
  • Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering, design, manufacturing, marketing, and sales teams Additional Requirements
  • Business Travel:
    Approximately 20%
