  • Food and Beverage Apply Job Type Full-time Description Join our dynamic team at Hyatt House Charleston & The Lowline Hotel, managed by Avion Hospitality, where hospitality meets innovation and fun.
We are seeking an outgoing, entrepreneurial, and results-driven professional to lead revenue generation initiatives across our Food & Beverage outlets. This position is responsible for driving incremental sales through community outreach, event development, strategic partnerships, guest engagement initiatives, and innovative programming. The role supports all F&B outlets, including the restaurant, market, bars, golf simulator, outdoor patios, and the upcoming rooftop bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will build awareness, create memorable guest experiences, cultivate local relationships, and generate measurable revenue growth while serving as an ambassador for the property's dining and entertainment offerings. Business Development & Sales Conduct outside sales calls and cultivate relationships with local businesses, residential communities, concierges, event planners, and community organizations. Generate and secure group dining, social events, celebrations, and private functions for groups of 10 or more. Partner with hotel sales leaders to identify and convert Food & Beverage opportunities within existing hotel groups, meetings, and wedding business. Conduct site visits and venue tours for prospective guests, organizations, and community partners. Build awareness and secure advance bookings for the rooftop bar and restaurant prior to opening. Guest Engagement & Experience Develop unique guest experiences and personalized offerings that enhance celebrations, group events, and special occasions. Collaborate with Front Office, Valet, and Operations teams to promote F&B offerings to arriving and in-house guests. Utilize pre-arrival and in-stay communications to generate reservations, special experiences, golf simulator bookings, and event participation. Organize Manager Reception for Elite Members once a week. Marketing & Community Relations Plan and execute monthly activations, themed events, promotions, and revenue-generating programming. Partner with Marketing, Social Media teams, and local influencers to increase visibility and drive customer engagement. Represent the hotel at networking events, industry associations, hospitality organizations, wedding groups, and community functions. Revenue & Performance Management Track prospecting activity, leads, bookings, covers, activation results, and incremental revenue generated. Maintain an outreach and activation calendar and provide regular performance reporting. Support incentive-driven revenue initiatives and contribute ideas that increase outlet profitability. Other Duties Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Senior Leadership Team. May be expected to serve as point of contact for event; greeting groups and staying for parts of function
Requirements Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in hospitality, food & beverage, hotel operations, event planning, sales, or guest service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable networking within the local community and building business relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.
