This is not intended to be a dead-end production position. We're looking for someone who wants to learn the roofing business from the ground up, become excellent at managing projects and working with customers, and eventually grow into roofing sales and leadership as our company expands. You'll start by learning how Southern Roofing operates and taking ownership of roofing projects from material delivery through final completion. Along the way, you'll learn how to identify roofing issues, communicate with homeowners, generate new business, inspect roofs, and understand the sales side of the industry. Our goal is to find someone who wants to grow with the company

  • 65,000 base salary , depending on experience Up to $1,000 quarterly performance bonus / $4,000 annually $150 bonus for every self-generated lead that becomes a completed and fully paid roof replacement Uncapped lead bonuses Company truck Company gas card for business use Company drone Southern Roofing shirts/uniforms Work shoe/boot allowance Paid time off Paid major holidays Training on Southern Roofing's systems and processes Training and development toward roofing sales Opportunity for significantly increased responsibility and compensation as the company grows A strong employee who performs well and generates new business has the opportunity to earn beyond the base salary from the beginning, with substantially greater earning potential as the position develops into sales.

What You'll DoProject Management Your primary responsibility will be making sure Southern Roofing projects run smoothly and that our customers receive an excellent experience from start to finish.

You'll:

Manage roofing projects from material delivery through final completion Confirm crews arrive prepared and in proper Southern Roofing uniforms Verify materials, colors, quantities, and job scope before installation begins Communicate with crews and resolve jobsite issues Inspect roof leaks and assist in identifying potential solutions Take progress photos and provide customers with updates throughout their project Maintain a clean, professional, and organized jobsite Complete final quality-control inspections Conduct final walkthroughs with customers Ensure punch-list items are completed promptly Collect final payments Ask satisfied customers for a 5-star review Coordinate the return of unused materials to suppliers Take ownership of problems and help find solutions rather than waiting to be told what to do Business & Sales Development We want this person to learn more than production. Part of your role will be helping Southern Roofing turn every successful project into an opportunity to build relationships and generate additional business.

You'll:

Introduce yourself to homeowners around active Southern Roofing projects Door knock and distribute company materials around active jobs Speak professionally with neighboring homeowners Identify potential roofing opportunities Generate new roofing leads Learn how to identify common roofing problems Represent Southern Roofing professionally in the field and Charleston community You'll earn an additional $150 for every self-generated lead that results in a completed and fully paid full roof replacement. There is no limit on the number of lead bonuses you can earn. As you gain roofing knowledge and demonstrate strong communication and sales ability, you'll have the opportunity to begin inspecting roofs, meeting prospective customers, preparing proposals, following up with leads, and eventually closing your own roofing projects. At that point, there will be an opportunity to transition into a sales compensation structure with significantly greater earning potential.
