Job Description
A long-established organization in the commercial vehicle and equipment industry is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead an established sales team and help drive continued growth across a multi-state territory. This opportunity is available due to a planned leadership transition, allowing the next Sales Manager to step into an established team and customer base. The company has built its reputation over decades by taking care of its customers, investing in its people, and providing opportunities for employees to grow their careers within the organization. What You'll Do As Sales Manager, you will lead a handful of sales representatives throughout a regional territory.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead, coach, and develop an established sales team Set expectations and create accountability around goals and performance Identify opportunities to increase sales and market penetration Develop and execute sales strategies across the territory Manage quarterly sales forecasting and monthly budgets Monitor expenses, margins, and overall profitability Track sales performance and help representatives achieve their goals Strengthen existing customer relationships while identifying opportunities for continued growth Partner with branch and senior leadership on sales strategy and business objectives Support the professional development and continued success of the sales team What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out This is an opportunity to join a stable organization with an established customer base and sales team rather than starting from the ground up.
The company offers:

Preferred qualifications include:
3+ years of successful sales management experience Experience leading, coaching, training, and developing sales professionals Experience with sales forecasting and budgeting Strong understanding of margins, expenses, and profitability Ability to manage performance across multiple territories or locations Strong customer relationship and business-development skills Heavy-duty truck or commercial vehicle experience preferred Candidates from closely related equipment industries may also be considered Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills CDL experience is a plus If you're an experienced sales leader looking for an opportunity to join a stable organization, inherit a strong foundation, and make a meaningful impact on the continued growth of a regional sales operation, this could be an excellent next step.
