Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here Hotel Group Sales Manager - Community & Weekend Markets The Woodlands, Texas We are looking for an experienced hotel sales professional to join a successful hospitality operation in The Woodlands, TX . This position will concentrate on developing group demand from community-based organizations and leisure segments, with a particular emphasis on strengthening Friday-through-Sunday room production . You will represent two select-service properties totaling 263 guest rooms and approximately 4,200 square feet of event and meeting space . This is an active sales position for someone who enjoys getting into the market, developing new contacts, uncovering opportunities, and turning leads into booked business. Earnings & Incentives $65,000-$70,000 base salary Quarterly incentive opportunity up to 30% Additional 10% performance incentive tied to exceptional market-share results Opportunity to directly influence property revenue and weekend performance Your Focus Develop new group accounts that can generate weekend room nights and event business Target opportunities within schools, faith-based organizations, youth and amateur sports, associations, reunions, social groups, and community organizations Establish new contacts throughout The Woodlands and surrounding market Maintain an active prospecting pipeline through calls, visits, networking, and community involvement Convert incoming opportunities by providing timely proposals, pricing, and follow-up Identify groups with short booking windows and move opportunities efficiently from inquiry to contract Participate in local sales campaigns, market outreach, and promotional activity Partner with hotel leadership on strategies designed to improve weekend demand Maintain relationships with existing accounts while continually developing new sources of business Assist the Director of Sales with broader group-sales and market-development initiatives Background We're Seeking 2-5 years of hotel sales experience Previous exposure to group, SMERF, social, leisure, or community-based hotel sales is strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to prospect and develop business rather than relying exclusively on inbound leads Strong interpersonal and networking abilities Comfortable working in a sales environment with significant activity and shorter booking cycles Excellent organization and follow-through Ability to prioritize and manage numerous opportunities simultaneously Professional and confident when meeting planners, community leaders, coaches, schools, organizations, and local decision-makers Valid driver's license required Prior hotel selling experience is required; this is not an entry-level hotel sales opportunity Make an Impact This position owns an important piece of the hotels' revenue strategy.
