Role Description If you're getting the idea that we set the bar high, you're right! Our next Senior Group Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new group sales opportunities, fostering client relationships, and achieving revenue goals through proactive sales strategies. Key tasks include prospecting and acquiring group business, negotiating contracts, coordinating with internal departments to ensure client satisfaction, and analyzing market trends to develop competitive sales approaches. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Southlake, TX with opportunities to collaborate with a dynamic team within the hospitality management industry.
Qualifications Sales and Negotiation:
Proven experience in group sales, business development, and contract negotiation in the hospitality or related industries.
Client Relations:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships, along with exceptional customer service abilities.
Strategic Planning:
Expertise in market analysis, competitive positioning, and the development of targeted sales strategies.
Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously and collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams. Proficiency with
Technology:
Familiarity with sales management tools, CRM platforms (Marriott's CI/TY), and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Previous hotel experience is required. Previous large market hotel sales experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of the Southlake/Grapevine/Tarrant County market is an added advantage. Proven ability to exceed sales targets and drive revenue and profitability growth.
