Job Description
Garber Motors is a family-owned and operated used car dealership looking for a motivated, dependable, and personable Automotive Sales Manager to join our team. The primary focus of this position is vehicle sales and customer relationships, with some involvement in the day-to-day operations of the dealership. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to learn the automotive business, build their sales skills, and take on increasing responsibility. Responsibilities Work with customers to understand their needs and help them find the right vehicle Respond to leads, follow up with customers, conduct test drives, and assist with closing sales Conduct vehicle walk-arounds and explain features, pricing, and purchasing options Maintain follow-up with prospective and previous customers Assist with vehicle merchandising, including photos, listings, and keeping inventory ready for sale Complete sales, title, registration, and other dealership paperwork Coordinate vehicles going to and returning from service and repair shops Assist with occasional vehicle transportation, parts pickups, and other dealership needs Help keep the dealership lot organized and inventory properly parked and presented Qualifications Sales, automotive, dealership, or customer service experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person Strong communication and customer service skills Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently Professional attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to obtain an automotive salesperson license Able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities Because we're a family-owned and operated dealership, everyone plays an important role.
