Requirements:
2+ years of experience in office management or administrative support
Accounting background strongly preferred
Must have an Interest in account management and business development, working with social media posts and marketing
Someone with an eye for interior design would be very helpful
Intermediate knowledge in Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of QuickBooks, Buildertrend or other residential PM software is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable interacting with clients, vendors, and team members
Organized, attention to detail, handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Dependable, self-starter, punctual, work independently, and take initiative
Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable vehicle/transportation
Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be the Office Manager for a smaller home building company. Once trained, the role will also evolve into also working with current and potential customers to continue to help grow the business. It will be about 50% Office Management tasks and 50% Business Development/Account Management. The main focus is overseeing daily office operations, including organizing office supplies, managing incoming and outgoing communications. First point of contact for clients and visitors, managing phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries Assist with scheduling, document preparation, filing, and data entry
Prepare invoices, process payments, and track expenses and work closely with the accounting team
Provide support to the project management team, including tracking deadlines, coordinating meetings, and assisting with project documentation
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely deliveries and follow-up on orders as needed
Once trained, will begin to assist with business development such as social media content, meet with current and prospective customers to discuss their needs, assist with planning and development of growing clients and future business
