Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager with a strong background in the pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing customer relationships, preparing project estimates, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets. This position requires extensive knowledge of steel structures, commercial and industrial construction, and the metal building market. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the company's metal building business. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with contractors, developers, architects, engineers, and owners. Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers. Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to identify sales opportunities. Coordinate with estimating, engineering, detailing, and project management teams to prepare accurate proposals. Prepare and present quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and CRM records. Work closely with operations to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet customer expectations. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Assist in developing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and market share. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the metal building, structural steel, or commercial construction industry. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Strong knowledge of pre-engineered metal building systems and construction processes. Experience reading construction drawings and specifications. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed. Preferred Experience Experience selling pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB). Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection. Established relationships with general contractors, developers, architects, and industrial clients. Experience with estimating software and project bidding.
