Business Development and Client Relations Manager Teton Heritage Builders | Jackson, WY Office | Full-Time | Cover Letter Required About Teton Heritage Builders Teton Heritage Builders is a high-end custom residential builder serving the Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Southwest Montana markets. We build technically demanding, architecturally significant homes in some of the most beautiful and unforgiving country in the Rocky Mountain West. The Role The Business Development and Client Relations (BDCR) Manager owns the process from initial lead generation through construction kick-off. You are the face of Teton Heritage Builders in the marketplace. You will manage our brand and market presence, build and maintain the relationships that drive our referral business (architects, realtors, past clients, and other design professionals), field incoming leads, and guide prospective clients through contract execution, preconstruction budgeting, and hand-off to the construction team. What You Will Do Sales and Client Development Lead introductory and follow-up meetings with prospective clients and clearly articulate what sets THB apart from our competitors Present and explain our contract structure and provisions, and negotiate terms within company-approved parameters Follow up every introductory meeting with a next-day intro package Manage the sales pipeline in HubSpot, including regular contact with active prospects, check-ins with current and past clients, and ongoing outreach to referral professionals Serve as point person on all RFP responses Prepare design phase estimates across schematic design, design development, and construction documents phases, including the written assumptions and clarifications that accompany each budget Run the contract turn-over meeting with the project team at kick-off Match incoming projects to the right team based on complexity and experience level Relationship Building Past clients: maintain the relationship through thoughtful follow-up, company events, and continued support of local non-profits on our clients' behalf
Architects:
tie program and budget together early to keep the design process moving, serve as the construction expert on building system viability in the Jackson Hole market, and facilitate continuing education through lunch and learns and industry events
Realtors:
provide lot constructability analysis, engage with the causes that matter to top producers, and showcase our completed homes Marketing and Brand Partner with leadership togrow the THB brand, working within an annual marketing budget Create and manage marketing and sales collateral, including intro packages, branded merchandise, and print pieces Manage THB's social media presence and keep the company website current, including SEO and professional project photography Target publication of THB projects in three magazines per year Ensure jobsite signage is in place and reflects the quality of the work behind it Organize site visits and job tours that showcase completed and in-progress work Support company-sponsored events alongside office management staff Maintain a prominent, high-end public presence for THB, including community and non-profit involvement Team and Company Participate in the hiring committee as first-round reviewer on candidates Serve as an active member of our Best in Class Client Experience Committee Update operations staff on pipeline and sales activity at least every two weeks Communicate and support company policies across staff and subcontractors Represent our mission and values in every client and partner interaction What You Bring Required 5+ years in business development, sales, or client-facing project management, ideally in custom residential construction, architecture, real estate, or a closely related field A track record of building and maintaining a professional referral network Comfort presenting and negotiating contract terms with sophisticated clients Working knowledge of residential construction methods, costs, and scheduling Strong written communication, particularly for budget assumptions and client-facing documents Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office. We run HubSpot, and experience with a comparable CRM transfers Composure and professionalism under pressure. We stay measured with clients and partners, always Valid driver's license and the ability to travel regularly to job sites and meetings across the Jackson Hole and Teton Valley markets Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission, commensurate with experience. : health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and a vehicle or mileage allowance. Location This position is based out of our Jackson, Wyoming office. This is an in-office role, not remote, with regular travel to job sites and client and partner meetings throughout the Jackson Hole and Teton Valley markets. How to Apply A cover letter is required.
