This role is the welcoming face of our bakery, helping customers with orders and creating a smooth, positive experience from the moment they walk in. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders. Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately. Answer questions about bagels, pastries, menu items, and daily offerings. Pack orders carefully and efficiently for dine-in, takeout, and delivery pickup. Keep the front counter, display area, dining space, and beverage station clean and stocked. Restock bags, napkins, cups, condiments, and other supplies throughout the shift. Help maintain an organized, welcoming customer area. Communicate clearly with kitchen and bakery team members to ensure accurate, timely orders. Follow food-safety, sanitation, and company procedures. Qualifications Customer service or cashier experience is preferred, but we are happy to train the right person. Friendly, professional communication and a positive attitude. Comfortable handling cash and using a point-of-sale system. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Availability for mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
