Job Overview Cashier Clerk Laurel Supply | Los Angeles, CA Laurel Supply is looking for friendly, dependable, and service oriented Cashier Clerks to join our growing market team. As a Cashier Clerk, you'll be one of the final touchpoints in our guests' shopping experience. We're looking for team members who are welcoming, attentive, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and committed to providing excellent service. In addition to operating the register, this role will help maintain an organized front end and support the market wherever needed. What You'll Do Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service Accurately process purchases using the point-of-sale system Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment responsibly Bag purchases carefully and efficiently Answer customer questions and help direct guests to products or departments Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area Assist with stocking, merchandising, and general store upkeep as needed Monitor the front end and communicate customer needs or concerns to leadership Follow all cash-handling, food safety, loss-prevention, and company procedures Work collaboratively with team members across departments Assist with opening and closing responsibilities as assigned Help create a welcoming, elevated, and efficient shopping experience for every customer What We're Looking For Previous cashier, grocery, retail, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Dependable, punctual, and professional Comfortable handling cash and completing transactions accurately Ability to remain organized and composed during busy periods Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties associated with the position Why Join Laurel Supply?
