Responsibilities Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions with accuracy. Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases. Process sales transactions efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally. Ensure proper stock levels at the register and assist in restocking as needed. Communicate promotions and sales to customers effectively. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall store operations. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. Experience in retail sales, particularly in a grocery store setting, is preferred. Proficiency in basic math and retail math for accurate transaction processing. Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
