Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Clerk to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, efficiently handling transactions, and maintaining a well-organized checkout area. This role is essential in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers and contributing to the overall success of our store. We are seeking candidates who are available from 7am-8pm. Duties Operate cash registers and accurately process customer transactions. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting with product selections. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate cash handling and change distribution. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and surrounding displays. Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring product availability. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math concepts is a plus. Experience in a grocery store setting is advantageous but not required. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining store standards. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
