Position Summary Slime Lab is seeking a friendly, energetic, dependable, and safety-conscious Slime Experience Associate. This position guides guests through the slime-making experience, provides excellent customer service, supports birthday parties and events, processes purchases, prepares materials, and maintains a clean and organized workplace. This is a hands-on position requiring regular interaction with children, families, slime ingredients, merchandise, cleaning products, and activity supplies. Employees must consistently follow company procedures and management instructions. Essential Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Welcome guests promptly and provide friendly, professional service. Explain available experiences, pricing, products, memberships, and promotions accurately. Guide children and families through each step of the slime-making process. Help guests select appropriate colors, scents, textures, charms, and add-ins. Lead birthday parties, group activities, and special events with enthusiasm and professionalism. Prepare slime ingredients, activity stations, party areas, and supplies. Monitor activity areas and promptly report spills, hazards, damaged equipment, inappropriate behavior, or safety concerns. Follow all guest-supervision procedures. This position does not provide unsupervised childcare. Operate the register and accurately process cash, card, gift-card, and other approved transactions. Protect company funds, merchandise, equipment, guest information, and confidential business information. Follow cash-handling, discount, refund, and loss-prevention procedures. Promote Slime Lab products and experiences without making misleading, unauthorized, medical, or safety claims. Restock merchandise, ingredients, containers, charms, and operating supplies. Complete assigned inventory counts and notify management of shortages or damaged products. Clean and sanitize tables, tools, containers, floors, fixtures, restrooms, party areas, and employee workspaces. Properly label, store, use, and dispose of ingredients and cleaning products according to company instructions. Follow opening, closing, cleaning, emergency, incident-reporting, and security procedures. Record all working time accurately. Working before clocking in, after clocking out, or during unpaid meal periods is not permitted. Maintain professional conduct and appropriate boundaries with children, parents, guardians, coworkers, and guests. Perform other lawful, job-related duties as assigned based on business needs. Customer and Child Safety Employees must: Follow all company rules for interacting with children and families. Never leave an assigned activity area unattended without authorization. Never provide medication, medical advice, or unauthorized childcare. Never make guarantees that an ingredient or product is allergy-free or suitable for a particular medical condition. Refer ingredient, allergy, sensitivity, or health-related questions to management and available product information. Immediately report injuries, allergic reactions, missing children, suspected abuse, threats, unsafe conduct, or emergencies to management. Contact emergency services when directed or when reasonably necessary. Complete required incident documentation truthfully and promptly. Protect guest privacy and never photograph, record, or post guests without proper authorization. Required Qualifications Friendly, patient, dependable, and comfortable working with children and families. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy, noisy, or challenging environment. Ability to work independently while supporting the entire team. Ability to handle money and complete basic calculations accurately. Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow safety and sanitation procedures. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Willingness to complete all required training. Ability to provide documentation establishing identity and authorization to work as required by law. Must satisfy any lawful minimum-age requirements associated with assigned duties or working hours. Retail, recreation, childcare, party-hosting, entertainment, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required. Scheduling and Attendance This position requires flexible availability based on business needs, including: Weekdays and evenings Weekends Holidays Birthday parties and special events Opening and closing shifts Additional hours during school breaks and busy seasons Slime Lab's operating hours may change based on seasonal or business needs. Shifts may begin before opening or continue after closing for preparation, cleaning, restocking, or closing procedures. Part-time status does not guarantee a minimum number of hours. Schedules and shift lengths may vary depending on guest demand, reservations, employee availability, performance, and business needs. Employees must follow established call-out, attendance, meal-period, rest-period, timekeeping, and scheduling procedures. Essential Physical and Environmental Requirements Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

The position may require:

Standing and walking for extended periods. Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, kneeling, and repetitive hand movements. Frequently handling slime, glue, colors, fragrances, activators, charms, containers, merchandise, and cleaning supplies. Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. Using team lifting or available equipment when appropriate. Cleaning spills and sticky or slippery surfaces promptly. Working around fragrances, dyes, glitter, cleaning products, noise, flashing or colorful lighting, and groups of children. Wearing appropriate clothing, closed-toe slip-resistant shoes, and any required protective equipment. Following all safety instructions when handling ingredients, supplies, tools, and cleaning products.
