Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Restaurant Facilitator is responsible for creating a welcoming and organized experience for guests from the moment they arrive. In addition to greeting and seating guests, the Facilitator assists with dessert preparation and presentation. This position plays a key role in maintaining a positive flow of service in a walk-in-only environment by managing the guest queue, coordinating seating, and supporting the front-of-house team.Key Responsibilities:
Greet and engage with all guests in a friendly and professional manner. Manage walk-in traffic by organizing a waitlist when needed and coordinating timely seating based on party size and table availability. Escort guests to their tables and communicate relevant menu or service details. Support the kitchen by assisting in dessert preparation, plating, and timely delivery to guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance, dessert station, and facilitator area. Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service. Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly respond to questions or concerns. Assist with takeout or dessert orders as needed.Qualifications:
Prior experience in customer service, food service, or restaurant settings preferred. Positive attitude and strong communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Basic knowledge of food safety and dessert handling is a plus. Willingness to take initiative and support multiple aspects of restaurant operations. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Physical Requirements:
Able to stand, walk, and move continuously during shifts. Occasionally lift or carry items up to 15 lbs. Navigate tight dining areas while escorting guests and carrying desserts.Job Types:
